Our President Became President
Barack Hussein Obama was elected the 44th president of the United States on this day last year. He cleared the last racial barrier in American politics as the country chose him as its first black chief executive. Obama drew huge crowds who turned out to hear his victory speech in Grant Park in Chicago. Remember his famous words? "The road ahead will be long, our climb will be steep," said Mr. Obama, his audience wiping tears from their eyes. "We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you, we as a people will get there." Hope was the slogan and springboard of Obama's campaign. It makes sense since he has a Sun in Leo. It symbolizes will, magnetism, sense of honor, and dignity. He's a Solar being, and flaunts charismatic and leadership qualities. Uranus is among his other dominant planets. Uranians are never predictable, and they're anti-routine. A quality befitting the leader of the free world -- don't you think?
