Second Chance at Love?

Q: My husband of 29 years left me 6-1/2 years ago. We are just separated - not even legally. He met another woman online and is now living with her. I am fighting with all I have to win him back. You just do not let go of 37 years of being together. I have begged and pleaded with him to let her go and come back to me (and our two grown sons). He is still paying for all our bills and gives me money every two weeks. What does this mean Cortney?

I am a Leo born July 24, 1956. My separated husband Joe is an Aquarius, born February 11, 1952, and this other woman is an Aries. I think of him every day, and cry so often. I am a nervous wreck, hurting, very emotional and so sad from this mess, yet I cannot stand him being gone.

A: Hello, Donna!

Leos are so loyal! I can see why you're devastated over being separated from a man you've known for more than half you life. Astrologically, although you two are opposite signs, you have moon (emotions) near his sun in Aquarius, a tie that indicates a profound male-female bond. I think part of the problem is that you got together so young.

Aquarians, more so than Leos, need the freedom to experience a wide variety of people and activities. However, his Venus (love) is in dutiful Capricorn, which led him to take on the responsibility of marriage very early in life. Currently, nebulous, idealistic Neptune is transiting over his sun and intensifying his need for a less committed situation. When Neptune moves on in about nine months, some of the glow will have worn off with his mistress. However, I can't say whether he'll come back to you. In your chart, transiting Pluto is opposing your Venus in Gemini. This often means letting go of a relationship completely and then perhaps reforming the connection in a new way.

For now, I suggest focusing on your abundant creativity (four planets in creative Leo!) and flair for people-oriented endeavors (Moon in Aquarius and Venus in Gemini). Developing your own talents will certainly inspire the admiration of your Aquarian sweetie - and empower your own life as well.

Message from the Other Side

Q: My deceased husband appears once in awhile in my dreams, but instead of being near me or at least smiling, he always seems to be at a distance and neither smiling nor frowning. He just seems to be there. My mom and grandmother are also in my dreams, at times, but they are always in a pleasant and loving manner. What does this mean?

A: Hello Rochelle,

What an intriguing dream! I believe that your late husband, as well as your mom and grandmother, are actually appearing to you from the other side, through your dreams. As for your husband's neutral expression, two interpretations occurred to me. First, he may still be adjusting to the afterlife and unable to express much emotion. Your mom and grandmother are probably more accustomed to their new environments and therefore appear more animated. My second thought was that there may be some things between you left unfinished. Is there anything you need to say to him now? Any feelings of love, anger or regret you need to express? If you're "conscious" enough to have what's called a lucid dream (being lucid gives you control over what's happening in the dream), you can actually respond to him from within a dream. Or you can "converse" with your husband through a meditation. He'll be certain to get the message. In any case, clearing the air between you and sending him thoughts of love and acceptance will accelerate healing for you both, until you meet again in the afterlife.
