It is very hard when you don't know what has become of someone you love. Sometimes all you can do is believe the best - it helps you get through the days.
Your brother is alive, but, I don't know that he's ready to be found. I'm not trying to discourage you from searching, but try to remember you have a life to live as well. Unfortunately, you don't have the resources to expedite your search, nor have you uncovered any "hot" leads on your own. I'm not sure what area you have been focusing on, but I keep seeing "North West." Exactly what that means, I'm not sure. I do feel that he is or very soon will be here in the USA - I am drawn toward the Montana -Dakota(s) region.
You will see your brother again one day. But it is an outside energy, someone you currently do not know, that is the link that reconnects you with your sibling.
