A New Life, a New Adventure
Paula from Whitehall, Pennsylvania asks:
I recently accepted a new position in Bloomsburg, PA. It will be my first full-time position in almost two years of looking. In the meantime, I have been working part time and doing freelance work. The new town is too far away to commute every day, so I will have to move there. Initially, I will keep up two households until my current home sells. After that the move will be permanent. I wanted your insight because this situation is bigger than just starting a new job—it is changing my whole life—moving to a new town, meeting new people and having a new home. It’s a little scary. I already have a rental lined up. Do you think this was the right decision for me? Will starting this new job and moving to Bloomsburg have a positive impact on my life in all the areas that are important? Or will the move prevent me from attaining true happiness?
Psychic Red ext. 9226 Responds:
Dear Paula,
Congratulations!
Oh, it’s more than a little scary to leave all that is known and familiar to essentially start over someplace new. But it’s also kind of like an adventure, too.
Deep inside you, it seems like you already know you’ve made the right decision. Apparently, the Universe heard you with all those times when your frustrations were really getting to you and you asked for a new life.
It’s interesting. It looks as if you are moving far enough away to “start over,” but will still be close enough to the area that you currently call home that you will still maintain, maybe even improve upon, some of your current relationships. That’s nice! Especially since you do have people around you now that will help to make the transition easier, and keep an eye on your current home after you move. That’s a big stress relief right there!
You will like your new job and settle in quickly. The area you’re moving to seems to be a little quieter or more laid-back, and that seems to have a certain appeal or be just what you need. Over time, you will find that you have a healthy circle of friends, a few old, and several more new. Summer also is looking like it will breathe some tantalizing fresh air into your love arena, as well.
Keep your fingers crossed, but from what I can see, it looks like your home will find its buyer in March. I’m not quite certain exactly what the details are with the sale of your home, but I keep seeing your buyer presenting in March. But there may be some kind of delay or arrangement made, because it looks as if the deal doesn’t officially close until June. So, even though that’s a bit sketchy, I don’t want you to worry or panic, because I’m not seeing anything that’s highly stressful or financially challenging for you.
You’ve been needing change in your life, and your time of changes is here. In no way have you deflected your chances for peace and happiness; your choices have expedited the process, because joy in abundance is very, very near.
Brightest Blessings,
Red

Timely and starting over in a new town with a fresh job opportunity is where I am at. This reading is encouraging.
A heart warming article. I wish Paula well and would say embrace change, there really is nothing to fear but fear it self! We have achieved nothing in life by staying in the shadows and playing safe safe safe, we are here to stretch our souls and minds, and guess what? even if it turns out that it was not what you either A) Feared B) Wanted C) Expected, It will most certaintly be an achievement and you will look back and think YES I am happy I made that change as I have enriched my life path. Good luck.
