I’ve been seeing this Scorpio exclusively for the past year and a half or so. I’m 57 and he’s 62. He orchestrated a move, which has me living in a small cottage behind his daughter’s house. I LOVE the cottage, but the daughter is leaning on me quite a bit for childcare. I love her kids like they’re my own grandkids, but now have the opportunity to move in with my own daughter and her family. After some deep soul searching, I decided to make the move. I wonder if I will still have my beautiful Scorpio in my life after making this change. You seem able to pull nuances out of every situation and I may miss them in my own. What do you see here? Thank you in advance!
Dear Barbara,
Relax. Your Scorpio isn’t going anywhere.
It is true that your Scorpio does like the arrangement with you living in the cottage. However, he is not going to have a problem with you living with your daughter. As a matter of fact, as long as you reinforce that this change has nothing to do with the relationship, he will support you all the way. He may even pursue you with a bit more flair!
Just be sure to smooth his ego when you tell him of your plans. He can be very traditional and, in a sense, feels as if his hand in getting you into the cottage was his “manly” responsibility. Allow him to support you in other ways. It fills his need and maintains the definition of your current relationship.
Don’t underestimate the man you see so much beauty in. While you may be an active part of his family, they are not your blood. In your shoes, he would make the same choice.
Brightest Blessings,
