I broke up with my last girlfriend about a month ago because she wouldn’t commit to having or being in a relationship with me. I am currently taking a younger woman out for rides on my motorcycle, but am not really interested in anything more than a friendship. Do you see me meeting anyone soon and where might this occur?
Dear Tom,
It is going to take a little time before you find a woman that makes your heart go pitter-patter. Looking at that, I would suggest that you keep your options open and just enjoy this time of freedom. Being alone doesn’t mean that you have to be lonely.
When your ex-girlfriend comes sniffing around you once again, proceed with caution. While she may be a little more settled and willing to commit to a relationship, she is still a bit flighty. I just don’t see her as being the one for you.
With all of the people that you know and the social settings you can place yourself in, it does seem like you have a bit of a challenge ahead of you. Love can be elusive, especially when you are looking for it.
I don’t know if you’ve already checked into the computer dating scene or if this is something you have yet to feel the compulsion to try, but it is technology that introduces you to your future wife. In terms of timing, I’m not seeing a month or a year, but it does appear that for you, the third one really is the charm.
Brightest Blessings,
Red
