I have three sons that I gave up for adoption because I was abused and I loved them too much to keep them and possibly hurt them. Will they ever look for me?
Dear Janet,
I do see that you will reunite with at least one of your children in this life. While you may not have the opportunity to be his mother, in the classic sense of the word, you will share a deep friendship. This does not mean that you will never meet your other sons – it just means that you will develop a special and lasting relationship with one son in particular.
I believe that this is your middle child. The number “22” keeps popping up in association with your son, but I’m really not getting a whole lot of clarity as to what that means – it could be the boy you gave up when you were 22, or it could be you reconnect with him when he is 22. Or maybe he was born on the 22nd of the month.
While I can’t say that you would have been an abusive parent, if you had chosen to raise your children, I can tell you that these boys have benefited from your act of selfless love.
Brightest Blessings!
