Last night, the stars were aligned for Kathryn Bigelow who was named the first female winner of the Academy Award for Best Director. Not only that, but she beat her ex-husband James Cameron and his behemoth Avatar for both Best Director and Best Picture!
So what’s in the stars for this accomplished woman? Her Sagittarian Sun and Mercury suggest a woman who likes to tackle a wide range of subjects evidenced by her portrayal of a bomb squad in Iraq in Oscar winner The Hurt Locker (her other films include Near Dark, Point Break, and Strange Days). Her Libras in Venus, Mars, Saturn, and Neptune suggest that she has impeccable leadership qualities and does well working with and directing others.
