In Memory of Patrick Swayze

After more than a year of publicly battling pancreatic cancer, actor Patrick Swayze has passed on. The fiery dance extraordinaire was star of such hits as Dirty Dancing, Point Break and Ghost. Swayze’s mother ran a dance studio in his native Houston, Texas, and after a stint as Prince Charming in Disney on Parade and as Danny Zuco in the original Broadway production of Grease, Swayze began working in film. Diagnosed last year with pancreatic cancer, an interesting placement of Mars Square Pluto might explain his optimism throughout his grave battle – this placement gave him a tremendous amount of will power to pursue his dreams passionately and relentlessly. He had been working steadily on the television show The Beast since his diagnosis. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa Niemi, whom he met at his mother’s dance studio. May he rest in peace.
