On this day in 1977, Astronomers discovered 13 rings surrounding Uranus. Prior to that, Saturn was the only planet known to have “rings.” Uranus, which rules individualistic Aquarius is the planet of originality. While sometimes known for stirring things up, in its positive incarnations, Uranus is the planet of change and progress. The planet of the unexpected, Uranus also rules intuition and astrologers.
