Last week brought tidings of President Obama’s Nobel Prize. He is in good company because on this day in 1979 Mother Teresa of Calcutta was awarded the legendary prize for her humanitarian work. This is no surprise with her Sun, Mars and Mercury all residing in Virgo – these placements bestowed upon her humility and the will to serve. Most interestingly, Mother Teresa had Saturn in Taurus. Saturn is a planet of karma and was probably the source of her desire to deprive herself of Taurean comforts to live amongst the poor. The Vatican has beatified Mother Teresa. In order for her to become a Saint, a second miracle must occur.
