What Does the Future Hold?
Juliet from Kampala asks:
Dear Red, I feel like my life is stuck in one place with no progress. I’ll be 27 years old in July. I have a job that I don’t love and that earns me very little money. I’m not in a serious/stable relationship. Lots of men ask me out, but none of them seems serious (I’m a Cancer and really value commitment). Lately, I’m only being asked out by single fathers of two! Is this just a coincidence or does it have hidden meaning? I want to get married by the end of this year or very early next year. Will I meet the man of my dreams who will walk me down the aisle? I also want to progress in my career. I want to go back to school to study marketing and really need to know if this is a wise career move. Will my financial situation be better by June this year?
Psychic Red ext. 9226 Responds:
Dear Juliet,
I know that you are in a frustrated and uncertain space right now, and I will help you as best as I can. However, I’m only going to be able to touch base on some of your questions through this column. In order for you to get the most clarity and information regarding your present and future, it really would be best for you to have a personal, live reading. I also want to encourage you to have your natal chart cast. By doing both of these things, you will gain much more understanding of what is going on with you and why, and that knowledge will help you to understand and utilize the information to your benefit.
I am suggesting that you have a comprehensive astrological profile done because many of the issues you are struggling with are indicative of the situations and processes that frequently accompany a Saturn Return. However, this is something you should have one of our astrologers look at more deeply, because typically, the influences of our first Saturn Return are felt and experienced during when we are 29 or 30 years old. However, that doesn’t mean because of other astrological factors you aren’t experiencing this phenomenon sooner.
Looking at you and your life psychically, it appears that if you choose to focus your energies into furthering your education, you will benefit tremendously. Marketing does appear to be one of the arenas you can happily excel in, and you also present as having great strength in telecommunications and teaching. Spend some time researching the various programs available to you. This is something that you have to make happen, and while I do see that you will, the “when” is up to you.
Even though your current job presents as stable, it also presents as being less than personally fulfilling. While I am going to encourage you to look for new opportunities, I can’t honestly say that I see any changes occurring in your career in the near future. That doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t make changes or progress, but because you really haven’t been trying to create changes, things are rather stagnant. As a mild warning, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of opportunity or openings showing up around you presently, with your current company or a new organization. However, in time, this will change. If you pursue your ambitions to get back in school, it will help to create some momentum on the career front. However, the bigger, more satisfying career changes and openings look as if they are a couple of years away.
As far as your personal life goes, you will marry and have a family. Part of the single dad trend you’ve been experiencing presents as a precursor to what your future holds. While the universe seems to have a different timeline in mind for your marriage than you do, you will marry. I want to caution you a bit, though. You can achieve your goal of getting married in the first half of 2012, but this man does have children from a previous marriage. While this union does present as solid and happy, it also presents as a time when you adjust your concept of Mr. Right. This is a necessary change if you are to achieve getting married within your self-created time frame. For instance, if you choose to marry next spring, you will be marrying a man who does have children from a previous marriage. Now, here’s the catch – if you choose to hold onto your ideals of who is Mr. Right, (and your versions doesn’t seem to encompass existing children or an ex-wife) then you can have that, but not in 2012.
Juliet, we all have plans and ideas of what we want, and how we want our lives to unfold. And, we all go through these transitional times when it seems as if nothing is moving forward, or at least nothing is moving forward in the way that we want it to. You, unfortunately, are experiencing such a transitional time. So, even though it’s frustrating, keep doing your best to greet each day with hope and promise because the one truth that we all learn through experience is that nothing ever ultimately remains the same.
I hope this helps you, at least a little bit!
Brightest Blessings,
Red
