Well, just in case you didn’t notice, the world didn’t end on Saturday. In fact, nothing at all happened. (Unless we were all secretly transported into a non-Raptured parallel universe?) However, that hasn’t stopped Harold Camping—the fundamentalist California preacher who predicted Saturday’s apocalypse, and purportedly made millions off his flock in the process—from sticking to the story, claiming that Rapture process only quietly began on Saturday, and will culminate in the actual destruction of the world in October.
Oh, cool. I was kind of worried that the world would end before I could get ahold of a new iPad or get to see “Kung Fu Panda 2.”
Yahoo! News reports:
OAKLAND, Calif. – A California preacher who foretold of the world’s end only to see the appointed day pass with no extraordinarily cataclysmic event has revised his apocalyptic prophecy, saying he was off by five months and the Earth actually will be obliterated on Oct. 21.
Harold Camping, who predicted that 200 million Christians would be taken to heaven Saturday before catastrophe struck the planet, apologized Monday evening for not having the dates “worked out as accurately as I could have.”
He spoke to the media at the Oakland headquarters of his Family Radio International, which spent millions of dollars_ some of it from donations made by followers — on more than 5,000 billboards and 20 RVs plastered with the Judgment Day message.
It was not the first time Camping was forced to explain when his prediction didn’t come to pass. The 89-year-old retired civil engineer also prophesied the Apocalypse would come in 1994, but said later that didn’t happen then because of a mathematical error.
So—are you really, REALLY ready to Get Rapturcized this time??

Whatever the date this happens, if it happens, I am covered. Allstate protects me from mayhem, certainly nutcases like Harold Camping fall in that category.
And, did he make $80 Million from his “predictions?” The answer is “YES!” What a scam 🙁
Hi,
In a way it’s funny and in a way it’s not…….
Do I believe the world will end in October JUST the way Harold Camping says it will with the ” Rapture ” ?……My answer is NO !!!!
But some do believe in this and this man has scared many folks a couple of times over now. And that is the sad part……
Blessed Be )O(
