Did We Betray Our Dog?
We had to give our dog of 13 years away when moving to another country. We had a strong bond and this dog had given us one of the brightest memories of our lives. I have a lingering feeling that we betrayed the dog, which has been bothering me. I often see it in my dreams. Did our dog feel grateful for the time we got to spend with her or betrayed by my family?
