If you’ve read the CP newsletters, you may have seen our daily quotes. Did you know it’s one of the most popular sections of the newsletter? Today we received a letter in response to today’s quote:
“The bird of paradise alights only upon the hand that does not grasp.” – John Berry
Joan in Pennsylvania wrote: Today’s quote not only gives terrific insight and inspiration, but a peek into the past of others and an understanding of their personal spiritual journey.
Interestingly, a strange thing happens every time I have to find a quote to be featured. I look at the articles and information that is scheduled for the day and think about the theme that ties them together be it love, career, spirituality etc. I have quote books on my desk that I flip through to find the good ones. I don’t know how this happens, but just about every time I open the book, the very first quote I see tends to be exactly what I was looking for! I think that there’s a name for this but I can’t think of what it is. If anyone knows please tell me!

I use the word Synchronisity for those moments as it can mean two things happening at one time and coming together without prior planning. It’ fun to play with the words as well,I tell people that “coincide” is what you do when it’s raining outside, you….”co…in…cide” as a way to suggest that there is more going on, nothing happens by accident.
You girls are too cute this happens when I choose crystals never ever fails me either. I will pick a crystal purchase it and then look up what it is used for and its always dead on with what I am working on. Thats energy too!

I.love.that.word. Thanks for sharing, I’m going to use that all the time now!
Kismet! I think that may be the word you’re looking for. Fate or fortune. A sort of meant to be. I feel kismet in my life when pieces of the puzzle that were once strewn all over the floor, begin to gather and form a picture. So somehow you pull all these pieces together and it all flows and creates the full picture. Kismet is meeting the right person at the right time or even having a bad day or year but then having an AHA moment and realizing all the right reasons those things happened. And it’s a very cool sounding word. Sounds like two pieces of a word that met up at the right time. Electric company should have tried it out….KIS…..MET…..hahaha.
