I am a very spiritual person, an open minded Christian who has always felt I had guardians guiding and helping me. I pray quite a bit daily, more of an ongoing conversation with God than on the knees hands folded praying.
I have been very intrigued as I read about Spirit Guides. Could you be so kind as to help me out in finding out who my Spirit Guides are and how they can help me. Since the beginning of the year I have faced one major issue after another. I’m staying tough but the long duration of the trials is starting to wear on me.
Any help you can offer would be much appreciated!
Dear Steven,
Even though saints are normally associated with Catholicism, I frequently encounter them as Spirit Guides, even for non-Christians. Most prominent among your Guides are St. Christopher and St. Jude Thaddeus.
St. Christopher is known as the patron saint of travelers, but his story tells us more. St. Christopher appears when you are not strong enough to meet the demands of the moment, and his strength helps carry you through.
St. Jude Thaddeus, one of Jesus’ apostles, and possibly his brother, is the patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes. You can call on this saint when all other avenues seem closed. He often responds at the last moment with apparently miraculous solutions. I suggest you read up on both saints.
My impression is that these saints are “special mission” Guides, here to help you through a difficult period. Like your several “lifetime” Guides and your Guardian Angel, they work with the wisdom and infinite power of Source Energy, or God, to help bring you what you need when you need it, and to offer you guidance, wisdom, insight and new information to help you along.
In my experience, Spirit Guides arrange meetings with helpful people, clue you in to important books when you need them, give you feelings and hunches based on their understanding of universal energies and their broader perspective, and bless your life with clues and helpers to help you navigate successfully. What people call synchronicity is “coincidence” arranged by Spirit Guides.
The key to a good working relationship with your Guides and Angel is to talk to them, which you already do daily as part of your “ongoing conversation with God.” The other important part is to be alert so that you recognize their guidance and assistance.
If you have questions for them, the following technique should help you get answers. Hold your favorite spiritual book between your hands and ask your question. Then let the book fall open and, where your eye falls upon the page, you will find your answer.
You have powerful and benevolent forces arrayed to support you, Steven. All will be well.

Hello. I appreciate the answer given. I’ve had a hard time lately with keeping my faith. I’ve been trying to reach out to my spirit guides and get to know them and have a relationship with them the way I do with God. I’ve always been close to God lately it just feels like I keep questioning everything and it has made me feel a bit lost. I’m hoping soon that I can find the answers I’m looking for.
I thank you for this site. I am truly understanding my own power as well as giving honor to the Creator my guides and angels.
I am happy but still need a job to support my life in honor of me; will it come. I am writing this down but asking my guides to help me. thank you
