Mercury Retrograde slips out of Pisces and back into your career house again on February 12 through the 28th, so don’t pick February as your time for new career adventures. In March, a business partner may surprise you.

Gemini

Here’s the best news possible: There are two times in 2014 when your career gets the help of Mercury, your ruling planet, in your career house—January 31 through February 12 and again on March 17 through April 7.

Cancer

Beginning December 21, 2013 and ending January 31, 2014, Venus retrogrades in Capricorn, your opposite sign. Work may slow down a bit just after Christmas. But January also offers a New Moon in Capricorn and a Full Moon in Cancer—days that surround them will work for your career. In March career matters start to pick up again once Jupiter goes direct in your sign.

Leo

Due to Venus Retrograde in your house of daily work, January may have its moments. However a New Moon in the same house on January 1 as well as an alignment on the 16th both look promising for new work opportunities. On February 6 Mercury retrogrades in your house of other people’s money. This mean you should wait to sign contracts until after President’s Day.

Virgo

On January 30 there’s a New Moon in your daily work house, which is good career news. Mercury will retrograde first in Pisces and then Aquarius (in your house of daily work) between February 12 and the 28th—try not to rock the boat at work. Venus then helps your daily working life when she moves into the same house on March 5.

Libra

Mars in your sign (since December 2013 and through July 25, 2014) will push your life forward in many ways including in your career. However it does retrograde beginning March 1. Jupiter moves forward on March 6, when this planet of luck and expansion should improve your career life immensely. From February 6 through the 12th Mercury will be retrograde in your daily work house. Just lay low at work (or take the week off).

Scorpio

January 1, 15 and 16 are all great days that help get your career off to a great start and you may come up with some revolutionary ideas. There’s a Full Moon in your career house on February 14, which could go either way—just lay low and soak it all in. If you work in publishing or in the spiritual realm, mark March 6 as a day of expansion in your life.

Sagittarius

The first New Moon of January could surprise you with an unexpected opportunity. The Full Moon on January 15 can help you negotiate the money side of your career. On March 6, Jupiter moves life forward again, which benefits your working life—the world opens up. Your career and wallet will both benefit under March 16’s Full Moon.

Capricorn

Since December 7, 2013 Mars has been championing your career house. It will continue to do so through most of your Career Forecast until it retrogrades on March 1 (though May). Still, the New Moon in your sign on January 1 is telling you that this is your year. If you’re looking for a business partner, January 16 is a great day for a meeting. After Venus goes direct in your sign on January 31, you start to feel more stable in your career.

Aquarius

Though currently retrograde, Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, will be in your house of daily work through the middle of July, 2014. New career opportunities abound during the Full Moon on January 15 in your house of daily work, and the New Moon on January 30 is the beginning of your personal New Year.
