Mercury transiting into Scorpio on November 4, 2008 favors communications involving finance, investigations, intimacy, therapy, psychic readings, and anything done in secrecy. Venus transiting out of freewheeling Sagittarius and into Capricorn on the November 12 encourages practicality and commitment in relationships. A trio of influences moving into Sagittarius – Mars on the 16th, the Sun on the 20th and Mercury on the 21st – accelerate the need for freedom. They also energize cultural activities, travel, education, patriotism, and embracing an expanded, optimistic view of the future.
But the most powerful shift will be Pluto, which enters Capricorn on November 26 and stays there through the next 15 years or so. Capricorn is the sign of government and big business.
