What does your Animal Horoscope Mean?
I hope the following insight helps you understand the energy of your medicine animal. Remember that you have a totem of nine medicine animals that are always with you and they are linked with the numerology related to the date of your birth.
The medicine animals in this animal horoscope have been channeled to me by my spirit guide and so they are quite different from other horoscopes. I hope you enjoy them!
February 19 – March 20: Otter (Woman)
The energy of the otter is very much a female energy but relates to both men and women. It is a very caring and playful creature and is always on the move and is very curious. It teaches us to create a space for others to enter our lives without preconceptions or judgement. Jealousy or the fear of being replaced is not in an otter’s energy field. Instead the otter teaches us how to share with others and how the spirit of unity can be achieved.

March 21 – April 19: Dragonfly (Illusion)
It is said that the dragonfly was once a dragon and that the wings of the dragonfly represent the scales of dragon. The essence of change and illusion surrounds the dragonfly. It can also link you with the elemental world—the energy of air, earth, fire and water. So if you have found it difficult to make changes in life, or know that you need to release the past and move forward, ask for the medicine of the dragonfly.
April 20 – May 20: Buffalo (Prayer and Abundance)
All animals are sacred but the white buffalo is perhaps the most sacred. The appearance of the white buffalo signals that prayers have been heard, and it heralds a time of plenty. It can also say that you might be asked to be the instrument of someone else’s prayer for abundance. It can bring serenity amid chaos but asks that you use this gift wisely and selflessly.
May 21 – June 20: Swan (Grace)
The swan asks that you accept whatever the future holds without trying to change or alter it. In a relationship question it can show that a life partnership is on its way. It can also herald a change of awareness or self-transformation and says you should go with the flow and not resist what you know to be true.

June 21 – July 22: Alligator (Integration)
The alligator shows us how to fully digest life’s pleasures and pains. If you have been rushing through life it may be time to count your victories and your rites of passage. The alligator also tells us that quick-fix solutions do not aid long-term goals. If you become stuck in the human judgement game, step back and review the progress you have made by not doing so.
July 23 – August 22: Lynx (Secrets)
It is said that it is the lynx and not the sphinx that guards the secrets of the pyramids. It is nigh on impossible to pry a secret out of a lynx person. It can also link to clairvoyance and remote viewing, and it can reveal much (a person’s secrets and lies, or where the treasure is hidden), but you can never speak of these revelations—you simply know. It can also show that someone has a secret that they need to talk to you about and they know you’ll never tell.
August 23 – September 22: Moose (Self-Esteem)
People who need to know when to apply the gentleness of the deer or to stampede like the buffalo will ask for the medicine of the moose. In other words it is all about balance and knowing. The moose can say you should expect success from whatever life situation you have asked about and that you will have the feeling of accomplishment. But remember to share this with others as they need the same encouragement you do.
September 23 – October 22: Crow (Law)
Human law is not the same as universal law and the crow helps to bring the balance between the two. There are times when human law fails and universal law will intercede. It can show you a need to balance the three fates—Past, Present and Future. Allow your integrity to be your guide but also be mindful of other people’s opinions and actions.
“Truth and clarity bring peace and balance to your life.” – Psychic Danni ext. 5193
October 23 – November 21: Turtle (Mother Earth)
The turtle is all about grounding and pace. It signifies a need to slow down and focus your thoughts and actions in order to assure completion. It can also offer you protection and shield you from jealousy, hurt and envy from others and says it may be time to go inside yourself and honor your feelings. The turtle reminds us of the old fable of the tortoise and the hare—biggest and fastest does not always win the race.
November 22 – December 21: Snake (Transmutation)
The snake teaches us that we are all universal beings, and within us is the ability to transmute thoughts, actions or desires into positive outcomes. The snake represents fire energy on all levels—mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. It can herald growth and passion in life if you are prepared to shed the past and grow.
December 22 – January 19: Coyote (Trickster)
The coyote represents humor but in a way that can convince us that a skunk smells like roses. It has an ability to help us see the fun side of life and can be very adept at diffusing awkward situations. However it can also show someone who is not taking life seriously or who may have a hidden agenda. The coyote may wish to show you that you have become far too serious about a life situation and you need to lighten up.
January 20 – February 18: Hummingbird (Joy)
Here is a simple message from a simple animal: Life is about others bringing you joy and vice versa. It shows that in a relationship you can bring out the best in someone and they will in you. It also represents someone who is a free spirit and cannot be caged, so be prepared to give them freedom. But you will never experience sadness with hummingbird energy.

A friend introduced me to the Animal Medicine cards and bought me a pack. I have been seeing Animal Totems for many years now, in my third eye before I fall asleep. I know they have guided and protected me during times of hardship.
I always see Koala bear comforting me with a big cuddle.
Owl is my eyes and gives me wisdom.
Tiger and Leopard give me strength.
I have seen so many different animals including a Unicorn and Great White Shark.
I find them absolutely fascinating.

Excellent. I love working with the Medicine Wheel and the Animals…really interesting that each is linked to a Birth Sign too. I often work shamanically with my Animal Guides and they can help us so much. Thanks for this article Astrid. Love n Blessings…Alondra.
Dear Whomever reads these,
Thank-you,for at least some, emails I’ve received w/interesting articles & tweet ability for the animals connection to us. I say some because I’ve received so many that I cant read them all. Yes, it’s a bit overwhelming. I know you want people to open at least one and I’m sure many people read them all. Im not able to read all the emails that you sent.
After reading which animal relates to you by date I admit I know wonder if you keep a connection to your Mothers from development because Im nuts about that one.
Just wanted to say Thanks and to bad I didn’t get to call when I had some free minutes to get a reading.
Sincerely,Aunt Debi
