Understanding Your Daily Focus
It’s Leo season! You know what that means, right? Get ready
for a month of birthdays where everybody’s birthday lasts the whole month. Leos
love parties, they love attention, and after a very restrictive birthday season
last year, I think it’s fair to say that all of the Leos I know will be playing
twice as hard to make up for lost time.
Leo season truly embodies summer for me. The heat, the sun, the nightlife, the togetherness. There is something alive, fiery, and adventurous about late summer. It reminds me of my childhood, chasing the last weeks of summer vacation before school starts. There’s a rush to make it count as we move under this star sign.
In this week’s Daily Focus, I want to talk about all of my
favorite Leo qualities, how we can embrace them, and use them to our advantage
as we navigate the next couple of weeks.
Saturday, July 24

Spontaneity is one of the best things about all Fire signs,
and Leo embodies this spirit, while also bringing a touch more planning than
the other two Fire signs, Aries and Sagittarius. As the Fixed sign of their
element, Leos know how to make things happen, while leaving room for the
adventure to take shape on its own. They want to see where the night goes, but
they also have a list of ideas, with directions to them, waiting in their back
pocket.

Leos have a bit of an ego, but the hard work and determination they put in often justify their feelings. It’s okay to take on the role of the cool one. In fact, it’s easy to do if you find the right people and call on Leo’s energy to make connections and network well enough.

Leos love the spotlight, and so this month, you might feel
yourself more inclined to take the stage, have your voice heard, and make a
statement. It’s a great time to get playful with makeup or fashion choices, and
a great time to try your hand at new things. You never know where you may
shine.

The sign of Leo is ruled by the sun, the celestial body that
is, arguably, the most important to us here on Earth. Leos are often known for
their bright, sunny disposition (not to mention their fabulous hair) and as Leo
season beats down on us, we can embody that energy as well.

One of the first things I think about when I think of Leos
is their fierce loyalty. If you’re friends with a Leo, they will have your back
until the end. It takes a lot to lose a Leo, they won’t be thrown off at the
first sign of disagreement or trouble. Today, we can use that energy to engage
in good faith with those who are important to us, even when the topic is
difficult.

Leos are Fire signs, and so they are passionate and driven by nature. More than that though, they believe in a community in a way that is unique to their sign. They want to put in the work on a large scale to create a better world not just for themselves, but for everyone they care about.

Leos aren’t afraid to try new things, experience new things,
