Camille from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania writes:
I have nightmares every single night about someone or something chasing me. It sometimes has to do with the end of the world, but I somehow escape or do something that saves everyone. I can never remember who or what is chasing me as I never actually see faces. I wake myself up by either screaming or crying, and soaked with sweat. These dreams are very, very vivid, although I can never remember all details.
My life is very stressful (three teenagers and a husband who has many serious health issues—liver and kidney transplants, throat cancer, stroke, seizures and diabetes). I am his sole caregiver, and have worked full-time as a legal assistant until three years ago when I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I know my life has a lot to do with the nightmares, but I can’t figure out how to stop them.
Hello Camille,
As a Leo, you have a loyal and loving heart for the people who depend on you. Still, the stress of your family life has obviously taken its toll. The nightmares are a tool for processing the stress (which is chasing you), so you can awaken refreshed. Unfortunately, the dreams can’t handle that much anxiety, hence your decent into depression.
The most revealing element of your dreams is your attempt to save everyone from the end of the world. I’ll bet that’s what your life feels like, on some level, you’re the only one who can save your family from “destruction.” However, you simply can’t go on as you have before and stay mentally and physically healthy. You need help! I believe you can manifest help if you create a powerful intention to receive it, which will open up your energy field to receiving assistance in some form.
In the meantime, taking some time to relax before going to bed, and writing down what happened during the day, will help you process the stress so it doesn’t spill over into your dreams so much. That should lessen the nightmares, but they will likely continue periodically until your family situation eases.
Sweet dreams,
Cortney

Yes, I agree with Cortney……
this dream is a classic example of the daily stress, worry and frustration playing out in her dreams.
