Can Men and Women be Friends?

Fool! He Wants You!

Is it possible for men and women to be friends without any sexual tension? Or does one party or another have a hidden agenda? Researchers went in search of the answer.

A few weeks ago, a girlfriend told me about this awkward situation. Her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend was back in the picture after a year apart. The boyfriend and the ex worked at the same place, and suddenly she started offering to pick him up for work. Then she started bringing him breakfast, hanging out after her shift and asking to get together outside of work. To my friend, it sounded like the ex wanted more than just friendship. Is she right?

Until I read recent research and checked out a few informal polls, I would have believed the more often than not, women were the ones to think friendship with a man would blossom into a relationship. Call me cynical or check out my pathetic, desperate dating history.

However, the studies have shown that most women believe they can just be friends with men. Surprisingly (perhaps only to me), men think the opposite is true. The studies showed that men thought their lady friends were attracted to them, while women stated they were just friends and were not romantically attracted to the man. Do you want to be more than friends, but not sure if they feel the same way? Talk with love adviser Psychic Zelda ext. 5090 to find out.

Are We Blind?

Are we missing all the signs that we are putting out there? I did my own informal poll and asked women this question, “Can men and women just be friends?” Emphatically, they answered, “Yes!” I followed up with asking, “Has any male friend confessed their feelings to you?” It was great to watch their expressions change because each one said that at least one male friend had confessed their romantic feelings to them.

I asked these same questions to men, and they told me that not only could they not be friends but they were more likely to seek out friendship with a woman if she was good looking. And my faith in men died a bit more today.

Is Friendship Steps to Get Sex?

The studies showed that men have more sexual interest in the opposite sex while women seem to be more of a nurturing nature. What does that mean to you and me?

What if there’s that strong pull to your friend? Could it mean that you’re fated to be more than friends? It’s quite possible that you were somehow connected to them in a past life. The reason you’re feeling the connection is from the energy you shared in a previous life together perhaps as friends, lovers or family members. Many of our psychics, like Psychic Amelia ext. 9772 can help you explore this strong connection to see if it’s true and what was your relationship. I agree with Deborah. A woman agenda could be to be friends so she can get to know the guy more better and wanting more of a relationship. But mostly woman can be friends only- with no hidden agenda. But a mans agenda would be… If a man is your friend he either got in your pants or wants to get in your pants.

It seems like most can not be just friends. I am an exeption. One reason I think why there is so much drama and phobias is the western view of sex heavily influenced by the laothsome catholic, and other christian based churches. I have ben to many parts of the world over a long span of time and I am here to tell you the rest of the world and their view on sex is nothing like America…(Good thing)! When I tell a woman I am not jealouse, they think..sure thats what they all say. But when they find out I am not they then think I realy dont care or they will try to make me feel that way. Either way I dont get angray about it, and that too seems to offend. I have a very dear old female friend, we started out as lovers and years later we are now friends and she is married. Because she is so,ewhat in line with my thinking is maybe why we can be friends. People have to get over and stop getting butt hurt when some one has sex with another and not them. Unless you make some kind of verbal pact abouit the thing its none of anybodies buss. and should not be made inot such a huge problem. Oh, she cheated! or He cheated! Sometimes I think people react that way only because they think society expects them to. My younger brother married one of my ex girlfriends soon afetr we parted. Everyone expected me to behave in a certain expected way. I did not. Secretly I felt a little sad for my brother, who knew not what he was in for…he parted enemies and I am still friends. Get over the (i own you ) thinking and stop trying to control your mate or anybody else for that matter. Be blunt and to the point. America has the most warped broken view of sexuality in the world. Sexual matters should be of no concern as to what your neighbor is doing. If it is consenting adults..(even though I find homos laothsome) I dont care what they do, I dont spend time dwelling on it. Stop trying to control what peole liek to do the most wich is have sex. Just because you had sex with soem one doesnt mean you have sole rights to it or that the nature of the relathionship has to change (friends with benifits realy does work if you keep ego and control out of the picture

Any male “friend” I have ever had, sooner or later, made a pass at me (except the bona fide gay ones….)…. so, no, I don not think it is possible for men and women to be just friends.
Not because of the women, but because of the men…..

If there is no attraction then you can be friends but! Usually someone is wanting more and the friendship is based on a lie.

Yes…women and men can be best friends. But it depends on the level of maturity and intentions ( or agenda ) that both parties have.

Two of my best friends is are both married guys…..( but I predicted both of their wives too ….lol ). One of ths guys , while on assignment in Russia, met his wife in Russia and a year later brought her back stateside and married her.

I HAVE GROWN UP AS A TOM BOY & ALL MY FRIEND’S WERE BOY’S, I HAVE EVEN SPENT SOME NIGHTS WITH 4 BOY’S IN THE SAME BED & NO FEELING’S, I EVEN GOT THE NICKNAME PETROS SO I WOULD FIT INTO THEIR CIRCLE…..THERE’S SOME BAD VIBES HAVING FEMALE FRIEND’S CAUSE OF THE JELOUSY WE FEEL FOR EACH OTHER…… THERE’S BETTER FRIENDSHIP WITH MEN THAN WOMEN….. SO THE ISSUE OF HAVING HIDDEN FEELING’S IS A NO-NO……..
