We’ve all had the occasional really bad date. But when you have quite a few disastrous dates, it can really be tempting to leave the dating world behind and go explore the mountains in Mozambique. I have no idea if there are any mountains in Mozambique, but the universe might be trying to tell you something.

It’s Not the Right Time

List all the things you’re doing right now, from your job, family, friends, school, volunteer work and so on. Then put them in order. Where does dating fall on your list? When do you have time to date? Although some folks might say, you have to make time to date. I would argue that this moment in time may not be your time to date. You might need to finish something more important like finishing school, a big project at work or just finally taking time for yourself. Focus on what you need to do now, and then focus on dating.

Too Specific in Who You Want

A while ago, I advised people to write a letter to the universe stating what you wanted in a mate. However, we sometimes get wrapped up in the details. As Cameron states in the video, open yourself up and allow the universe to send you the right person at the right time based on what you want. The universe is listening, but you cannot control when it will happen; get used to it. Have faith that it will happen and that the universe will deliver the right person to you at the perfect time. Know it will happen, and it will.
