Absolutely, and as you stated, the key focus is strengthening the relationship. It is my personal belief, and suggestion to refrain from doing any ritual targeting a specific person without their knowledge and permission, as this can be one of those “grey” areas. To be on the safe side, I would focus your intentions on the energy between you and your partner and drawing you both closer to each other by building trust, intimacy, and love, as apposed to specifically drawing “him” near. Interfering with someone’s free will can have karmic payback!
