If you were a glittering, sparkling gemstone, which would you be? Depending on who you are and what type of energy you carry, you might match any of a wide array of gemstones. This is useful knowledge to have when picking out stones to align and focus your chi energy! My fave is Rhodochrosite.
It’s important to note that most rubies and sapphires (corundum family) and often topaz (especially blue topaz) have been heat-treated to enhance their visual appearance (or to change color as in the case of blue topaz). Heat-treated gems unfortunately have no positive metaphysical properties and can actually cause unwanted negative effects.
From one perspective, combining the concept of “fashion” with a metaphysical science is kind of bizarre!
Gina Rose, Miss Krystal, Jacqueline, Abigail,
Thnx and thnx for your kind comments. The next installment talks about “specific stones for specific professions”.
Much luv & lite to all~!

Hi Maryanne,
Yes, I was just thinking that myself. Several years ago, actually in the 80’s lapis lazuli was all the rage. Today, it has receded somewhat to the background. But that is only “popular” taste. I never considered myself to be a “follower”, and I know you are not either. So, what difference does it truly make in the scheme of things?
Much luv & lite~!

Ariel,
Hello Crystal Lady …very nice article as always. I use my intuition to pick my stones to wear….today I’m wearing my Amethyst with Moonstone crystal point.
Many Blessings
~Abigail~
Hi, Ariel,
Thanks for a very informative article.
I have and wear a great deal of Turquoise, amethyst, ruby and pearls and some diamonds.
It seems I used to see a lot more lapis in rings and bracelets. Has it gone out of fashion somehow?
Sincerely,
Maryanne

Hi Arial,
Love these great articles…love it, My favorite is the Turquoise I wear almost everything from the large grandmother star bracelets to the rings, it also stands for not only integrity, gratitude as well as you stated in your last article the absorbing of negative energies, the more I can collect the better….lol
Also even though it is not a stone, silver also absorbs negative energies.
Keep them coming,
Blessings and Big Hugs!
