Here was a recent email from Tricycle’s Daily Dharma that I thought many of you might benefit from…enjoy!
“When you don’t punish or condemn yourself, when you relax more and appreciate your body and mind, you begin to contact the fundamental notion of basic goodness in yourself. So it is extremely important to be willing to open yourself to yourself. Developing tenderness toward yourself allows you to see both your problems and your potential accurately. You don’t feel that you have to ignore your problems or exaggerate your potential. That kind of gentleness toward yourself and appreciation of yourself is very necessary. It provides the ground for helping yourself and others.

I love your Granny, I’m sure she has so much wisdom to share, you have many of her traits….
The beautiful, Joyous, smallest of things bring such happiness those things that money cannot buy!
Blessings and “BIG” Hugs!

HI Jacqueline-you remind me of my granny that passed away. She was a strong Aries woman, had ten kids!! She totally still found time to do her hobbies and, follow her interests…I miss her so…
Happiness can be found in many things.
We can be happy and content as long as we trust in the universe and God that all things work out for the best…
Hugs,
Miss Krystal

Ohhhh…. I love that song and oh how appropriate….all that petty stuff really doesn’t matter at all….
And let us not forget it is in that happy state that also keeps us looking young…LOL 🙂

Yes, I did try it. It was very refreshing…I like the energy I feel when I do it. I am into shower and baths anyway, so it fits right in…And thanks for sharing!
I could see how the looking in the mirror and adoring one self would be another good exercise…
I look forward to meeting you one day.
Hugs,
Miss Krystal

Miss Krystal
yes, we can see the good wonderful things, but we have to block out the petty stuff….I think that is key as you mentioned earlier….
If we focus on the positive, life is so much better….I agree. I love that song, “I can clearly now”

Yes, I was the one with the rainbow in the shower. Have you tried it yet?
Thanks for your kind words, I hope we meet soon.
There is another important exercise that my guides give my clients to practice self love: To look in the mirror or to imagine looking in the mirror and to tell yurself ” I love you”. The more we do it the more loving and kinder we become to ourselves.
Very nicely stated…Are you the one who told me to imagine the rainbow under the shower? I liked that!!
I agree.
Miss Krystal
I agree with you. We can’t worry about the petty stuff. Life is too short…
miss krystal
I think I started to do this more and now I can sleep better…

The more you are connected, and that is staying out of the illusion of the drama, (not to disregard anyone’s concerns because they are very real but when fed they seem to grow sometimes like a weed, and we definatly could do without those…) but on so many levels we as humans tend to get too caught up in all the what ifs, the “he said”, “she saids”..
It is all that energy that doesn’t allow all the wonderful joys of this life, all the happiness that we are seeking within our jobs, relationship and even money….
Blessings and Hugs!

Thank you for those words of wisdom. As a survivor of family abuse I find my way all too often back to listening to my abandoned child’s negative voice as I am not fully healed from all the pain. These words give me the courage to be kind to myself today and change my reality. Today they are not here to hurt me… I can be gentle with myself no matter what comes my way! One day at a time I pledge to be kind to myself so I may give more to others.
May blessing to the good work you do at CP!
Thanks for posting this here, Kim…it’s a great reminder!
I love the whole thing, but especially the last line.
Josepha 5170 in response to being kind to yourself.
I think it’s the number one priority in our lives. Without being accepting and tender with ourselves there can not be any growth, only stuckness. I always state to my clients to love themselves with all of the characteristics (external and otherwise) that they come with. We are made by source energy we can not be less then whole. Also, if we are mot accepting of ourselves, we can not expect anyone else to be.
