Psychic Sheep Lays Claim to Psychic Animal Throne
You thought the psychic animal wars were over… oh yes, you did… but you thought wrong! Because yet another new challenger has appeared: Sonny, the Psychic Rugby Sheep, who makes predictions on rugby matches based on eating hay bags with the flags of the competing teams on them.
The Metro UK reports:
Sonny, named after All Blacks centre Sonny Bill Williams, makes his predictions by choosing to eat from one of a selection of hay bags bearing the national flags of each team playing in the 2012 Rugby World Cup.
The new cult-hero successfully picked New Zealand to beat Tonga last Friday, much to the delight of the assembled Kiwi faithful.
According to owner Dan Boyd, Sonny has always been a bit special on the family farm in rural Dannevirke.
‘He’s the black sheep of the family. The other sheep don’t like him at all,’ he said.
‘He hangs out and likes humans more. He also likes to predict when it’s going to rain. He taps on the door to get inside the house when he feels it coming.’
It’s estimated that there are over 40 million sheep roaming pastures in New Zealand, which is quite an amount considering the country’s human population is hovering around the 4.4 million mark.
What do you think—does Sonny sound like the real deal?

Hi Krishna,
Way to go Sonny, animals have such an advantage over us humans they don’t harbor ill feelings nor resentment toward others, they don’t have the blocks that keep them from being there true self and accepting there gifts.
Blessings and Big Hugs!
