With all the things we face in society today trying to see what our destiny is can create lots of stress. Dear Psychic Red ext. 9226, I’m writing because I’m at a point in my life where I keep questioning why I am here. I don’t know exactly what destiny is or how we achieve it, but what was I meant to do? Was I meant to be married and have children? I’ve had so many psychics say I would have children, but I am scared to death of that possibility. Right now I’m a teacher. Will this be my be ultimate purpose in life? I keep getting dreams and thoughts that tell me I’m not at my ultimate point in life—not even with the right husband/soulmate—which makes me question everything even more. Overall, it’s like I’m questioning life in general and why anyone is here and how we can figure things out to be the best we can. I feel I keep learning life lessons, but is that all I can do? The biggest one for me is to live in the moment, but I still feel the strong need to see the end of the tunnel. Thanks so much for your insights.

Dear Andrea,

Destiny is one of those things you can’t avoid, so you don’t necessarily have to strive to figure it out or to achieve it. As long as you live your life honestly, in accordance with your beliefs and your soul (and it looks like you do), your destiny will be fulfilled—reaching the markers of large and small failures and achievements along the way. Get personalized advice from a psychic!

In a sense, you already have children (of vastly varying ages), from those you teach at work to those you teach outside of work. Not all lessons follow a plan or have a syllabus. So, if it eases your anxiety a bit, focus on those you teach instead of stressing out over pregnancy. Even though we all pretty much see you with a traditional family structure of husband, kids, and grandkids—you have a bit of control over this. Fortunately, we live in a time where we can prevent pregnancy. At this stage in your life, prevention is a good thing, because you are sincerely terrified at the thought of bringing a child into this world. So, this may not be the right time, but that doesn’t mean that a few years down the road you’re going to hold the same fears and opinions. The point is that with some prophecies you can choose WHEN and HOW they are fulfilled.

You’re a natural-born teacher, in all ways. You’re very good at it. Over the next decade, you may choose to change where you teach and what you teach. But it’s a natural progression, created from your desires. Along with your teaching abilities, you are also a perpetual student—always seeking out new things to learn and explore.

Some people are here to be famous, or to invent or discover technology or knowledge; some to beautify the world or the people in it. Everyone has a purpose, and each person’s purpose is equal in importance—whether or not their purpose seems grand. You touch people’s lives, help them discover themselves, and very often guide them to their correct path. There’s more than a touch of the healer in you. You are going to achieve, and help others to achieve, a greater state of enlightenment. You’ve been doing this, naturally, for a very long time. Heck, you’ve brought him this far, and the journey isn’t even half over. Again, you have a choice, though. If you choose to leave your mate, you’ll find another. But, you would have to go through the process of searching, as you wouldn’t settle with just anyone; you would hold out for someone who has already escalated on his own spiritual journey. Before you decide to kick your man to the curb, be sure that is truly what you want to do and that it feels correct. Don’t do it because you have questions and think this is what you are supposed to do, or you may find yourself struggling with regret.

You have a good life now, but things are still evolving, as are you. Continue on as you have been, because a time of fulfillment is coming, but there aren’t any shortcuts when it comes to personal growth. Sometimes, you just have to grit your teeth and endure the quiet chaos. When you learn to truly be present and live in the moment, you will find a level of contentment that you aren’t quite used to. Good will become great and knowledge will replace uncertainty. It is in that upcoming time of contentment that you will release a ton of things you constantly question and worry about, as well as your need to know what comes next. Everything is always changing, whether or not we are consciously aware of it. Sometimes it is only when we learn to accept things as they are that we can understand how far we’ve come, and know where we’re going. Very often, how we choose to handle our personal challenges is the key to how things unfold, but each of us ultimately fulfills our individual destinies, and lives the life we were meant to live.
