Don’t let The Fool’s name fool you… This is a great card to see in a spread!
Upright, it shows a carefree young man, looking up at a yellow sky, about to step off of a cliff. The Fool is full of optimism, hope and the freedom to explore with confidence. The appearance of this card indicates that you are about to embark on a new adventure! Don’t let fear get in the way. The only limitations confronting you are those you impose upon yourself!
If you’ve been sitting on the fence about something, seeing The Fool suggests that it’s time to make the leap and go for it. If the card comes up reversed, the opposite is not automatically implied. Rather, it could mean that you may encounter some delays on your current path, or need to make slight changes of plans in order to reach your destination.
It could also be telling you to reflect on your choices carefully before making other unwise decisions in the future. Translation?
Trying to run before you can walk could lead to some nasty spills. The Fool in reverse bids you to take your time! Your life might not be ready for what you’re trying to accomplish right now. That doesn’t mean you won’t get it, simply that patience may be needed.
