In Tarot, the fifth card of the Major Arcana is The Hierophant, and
turning this card is often a sign that it’s time to look within for
answers. Linked to the spiritual and philosophical realms, the
Hierophant advises that we go beyond physical day-to-day life in search
of deeper meanings. In other words, we must get to the heart of the
matter. That said, the spiritual awakening (or search) this card
suggests may be traditional, but it is not the same as dogma. In fact,
the Hierophant specifically forgoes organized religion (and external
answers), in favor of personal analysis, feelings and the very essence
of being.
