I believe that I was being guided two years ago to leave a bad relationship and good job in order to move from WI to IN. Since I’ve been here, I’ve had to learn how to be more humble and live for thirteen months with my daughter and family. Talk about rough.
I had a very hard time finding a job, let alone a full-time one. I now live on my own, but I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to stay here without having to get a second job and working non-stop just to have a place to sleep. Or beg my daughter if I can move back in. She is now expecting another child. I would have to give up on going to school because of the jobs.
I am so down and discouraged right now, I’ve been feeling just numb. Please HELP.
Dear Kim:
I know exactly how you feel, and really do sympathize – it’s so hard to live day to day just treading water, economically. Then, when you add the lack of a really fulfilling personal relationship, well, life is not a bowl of cherries, it’s the pits.
I want to encourage you, though. I see that you have really learned so much during this past time of hardship, and that you will put these lessons to good use in the future, even though that is the furthest thing from your mind right now! I’m sure you were guided to make this move, which – even though you can’t see it – did result in great personal learning.
I do want to ask you, though – have you considered moving back to Wisconsin? I feel that this could be a good direction for you, economically. Once you’re back to a solid financial base, it could be that your personal relationships become more rewarding. I say that because it’s so hard for happy, successful people to be attracted to us when we feel so miserable, and perhaps even desperate. Have you ever noticed how people with many of the same characteristics seem to be drawn to each other? I feel that once you’re back on a more solid money base, your positive qualities would shine.
As for meeting men – I always see that people meet kindred souls in activities that they both enjoy, whether it be volunteer work for a worthwhile cause or a particular hobby. I do realize that you don’t have a lot of spare time right now, but I feel that this would work for you once you’re back to not having to work quite so much.
Please let us know how this works out for you!
God Bless You,

Hi Tansy-Great!
One year, I spent more time on the other side of the country, vs. being here out west- which is my home…Thinking I may go ahead and permanately move-testing the waters….
But I thought I needed to get away from CALI. I am a Native Californian-
But after a while, I realized how much I missed my home state of California.
I would have dreams of relatives, who had passed away, singing to me California songs.
Then, when I was turning on the radio, while trying to make my decision, all these songs about California, would come on…..
I realized my journey was only temporary….I went back to California. That was Seven years ago. Never left since-I came back with a new attitude…I am glad I had the experience. But my point, is, sometimes we need to get away, until we get a confirmation about where we are really meant to be.
As far as your client, please know I have exes running around here, where I live….But there are also millions of people in my neck of the woods. Therefore, that is just something that is in our “head”-
And like I have told many people, who live around the same town as exes, it’s okay to avoid them….If you see them at the market, don’t look at them-if you feel awkward, take off, get out of there-everyone is different…….You are the captain of your ship….There is a great Beatles song, I love, “Get back”-came out the year I was born-written by MC Cartney & Lennon….There is a lot of us who can relate to that song…Not all, but a lot of us…
I really enjoyed this. Thanks. Miss Krystal
